To celebrate the anniversary of the Internet, Google created a scavenger hunt that allowed savvy users to pre-order the first ever Google Chromebook. Using the Chrome Twitter handle, users were given hints to check out certain sites relevant to the history of the Internet. Over 48 hours, users were sent to over a dozen Google and non-Google properties on which we had installed a javascript code that, upon activation, transformed the site into a elegant animation that rewarded users with the Pre-Sale.
